Brief Biography

 Born in Israel in 1953, Miri Spector Chernitz currently lives and works in Pardes Hanna-Karkur, Israel.

Painting is the main path leading her through life. Figurative and expressive, she also engages in the abstract expressive, manifested in sequences exploring a particular theme.

The varying techniques depend on subject and series: oil, acrylic, pigments and graphite among others.

The subjects usually range between the mental and emotional ties to our challenging earth to the desire to fathom its wonder.

Her art also features sculpture works in various materials, installations and video art.  

Her work is displayed in solo and group exhibitions, in galleries and public spaces. She also has works in private collections and public institutions in Israel and abroad.
